Warranty & Service Policies

SDI Product Warranty

SDI products are covered by a one year warranty from the date of order shipment. While the product is under warranty, SDI will replace or repair any products and components deemed defective. SDI reserves the right to make repairs and/or replacements at the customer’s location.

The SDI warranty does not cover damage due to misuse and is void if SDI products are serviced or modified by anyone other than San Diego Instruments or our authorized representatives.

Product Warranty Information

Products purchased from San Diego Instruments (SDI) are warranted free from defects for a period of one year. SDI agrees, for one year from the date of shipment, to replace or repair, at SDI’s option, at the SDI factory ( 6295 Ferris Square, Suite A, San Diego, CA, 92121) any defective products or components. San Diego Instruments, at its discretion, reserves the right to make repairs and/or replacements at the customer's site.

San Diego Instruments will also provide, for one year from date of shipment, general revisions to system software that are appropriate to the client's system.

This Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, and is void if San Diego Instruments' products are subjected to service or modification by anyone other than San Diego Instruments or an Authorized Representative.

San Diego Instruments' liability under any Warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the system.

Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the customer, SDI will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for the breach of any express or implied warranty on SDI products. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited to the duration of this warranty.

NOTE: Please inspect all shipments for damage upon arrival. If shipping damage is observed, contact SDI as soon as possible and RETAIN THE SHIPPPING CARTONS for inspection by the carrier. Check goods received against the “Expanded Packing List” included with the shipment. Claims for missing components will not be honored beyond 30 days after shipment.
